I found this the other day and it really made me laugh. I hope it will bring a smile to your face and help start the week off right for you. Are you one of those people that just can't resist popping the bubbles? I must admit I do it sometimes and Phil gives me such a funny look 'cos he is one of those people that never has the urge to pop a bubble.
While I have few (if any) claims to maturity, popping bubble wrap isn't one of my weakness. The skinny one does. And so does Jazz.
ReplyDeleteI guess 50% of people probably do pop bubbles...and cats too it seems.

ReplyDelete...not consciously..... ;~}..... YAM xx
Perhaps without thinking, just occasionally? xx
DeleteWhen things got tense at work I used to go down to the IT room and scavenge a few sheets of bubble wrap, bring them back up and distribute them among the stressed out.
ReplyDeleteMarvellous idea and I am sure it worked nearly all the time.
DeleteI love popping bubble wrap so L bought me a whole roll of the stuff, but he hates the sound of pop-pop-pop, so I was only allowed to pop when he wasn't home. Trouble was- he was always home! I eventually used the roll to wrap fragile stuff when I moved here.
ReplyDeleteAt least it didn't get wasted. I am not sure Phil enjoys the sound but he doesn't complain just gives me a funny look. I don't do it all that often as not many parcels these days.
DeleteI'm not immune to the allure of bubble-popping, but I'm even more drawn to those squishy little balls meant to relieve stress. I've never owned one, but can't resist giving one a couple squeezes whenever I see one on a store shelf.
ReplyDeleteYou either pop bubbles or you don't it would seem. I have a squishy little ball more to exercise my arthritic hands but yes, it does help relieve stress as well so a very useful little object.
