: ( Saddened to hear that our oldest great-granddaugher was taken ill today but glad to know she is now safely home with her mum. A setback in her health regime which hopefully will soon be rectified. I await further news when it becomes available. This lass has had enough problems in her nearly 18 years and we can only send her our love and wish her well.
: ) Glad to hear from Choices that they have the go ahead to do our carpet and hopefully we will be able to go there tomorrow to choose type and colour etc. Maybe next week it will all be done and dusted. Big sigh!!
: ) I've spoken about Mother's Day and the two lovely frangipanis I received and that daughter and her hubby popped in for afternoon tea. Great day.
?? Phil had ultrasound of his liver yesterday and we await results. There was a 'something' showing up on the chest ultrasound he had a couple of weeks back.....doctor thinks perhaps a cyst.
: ) Phil has appointment with dentist for 5 June. This is good as a tooth broke a few months ago (no pain fortunately) and they say they can put a false piece on the front of it. He is so fortunate at 84 to still have most of his own teeth. This dental clinic is subsidised by our state government and with our private health insurance, usually the total amount is covered. Thank goodness for that.
: ) Although it is spadmodic we are still getting the odd shower so garden watering (hopefully) is now a thing of the past, at least for several months. Those green things springing up everywhere? Oh no, damned weeds!!!
: ) The weather has remained nice and cool (averaging 22ºC) so yours truly can enjoy being outside which is always a plus.
More news next week re carpet and liver ultrasound and great-granddaughter as well. Hope your week has been a good one and that next week will treat you well.

ReplyDelete:) this is looking good!
Meanwhile in Dunoon the sun has been shining - fighting the clouds and mostly winning. Always a heart lifter. Blessings. YAM xx
We are getting there, albeit it ever so slowly.
DeleteYou must have been enjoying that sunshine and in colder, damper countries it must always make life seem a little easier. xx
Lots of positive and good news in this post Mimsie - praying for good results from PHils ultrasound and wonderful news that your g.granddaughter is doing well.
ReplyDeleteMay the rest of the week and into the weekend be gentle and kind to you and PHil Mimsie.
R.
We got over the weekend OK and now face another upheaval when the carpet goes down, possibly next week.
DeleteNo news from doctor's room which is a good sign. He will ring tomorrow just to make sure.
Thanks for your visit and your kind words.
I am also sending you lots of good thoughts and happy to hear your granddaughter is back home.
ReplyDeleteThanks Denise. Granddaughter now has to wait for appointment with neurologist and with public hospitals those appointments can take a while to come through. She is apparently doing OK but needs further checks.
DeleteThanks for making time to pay a visit.
Hope Phil's tests bring good results. Prayers and a hug for you both :)
ReplyDeleteThey say no news is good news and no news so am sure all is well. Thanks for your good wishes. x
DeleteYou have had a good week! Even the rain keeps coming, a little at a time, but that is better than none.
ReplyDeleteHope grand daughter stays well.
As you may have seen above g.daughter has recovered and awaits further assessment. She has been seizure free for such a long time they took her of her meds but seems she may have to go back on them which is a nuisance.
DeleteRain still very spasmodic although quite a lot about 50+km south of us. At present it's just enough to not want to put the washing out on the line but rather under the patio which is a nuisance but mustn't complain as need whatever rain falls.
