TUNEFUL TUESDAY

Whoops running late with this one so a quick decision as to which I shall choose.  How about Tennessee Ernie Ford with "Shenandoah"?  A beautiful deep voice singing a delightful song and of course it is from YouTube.

  3. Hi Mimsie,I hopped to your blog from seeing you on the blog with Kim at Golden Pines.I am just across the water in NZ, am 77, Hugh is 80, and I can tell you that the blog is the pathway to many true friendships. Hope you are keeping cool over there, but WA, hot, hot and always hot, Hugh's cousin used to say when they lived near Perth. Love the songs, and Shenandoah, what a mighty voice. Fond greetings from Jean,

    1. Hi Nancy or is it Jean?...lovely to meet you and thanks for popping in to my blog.
I have been blogging for a few years but recently lost my mojo completely and am trying to make comeback,,,hence the tuneful days.
Phil and I had two delightful holidays in your beautiful country back in the 1980s and if we didn't have family in Oz we would have seriously thought about emigrating to NZ.
Talking about being hot..I remember on our first visit (a bus tour) it was very hot and the airconditioning in the bus broke down. We reached Alexandria for lunch and spent the time sitting in the shade in the beautiful park there.
We've already had some very hot days this summer in Perth and we're hoping it will be reasonably cool for Christmas...all fingers are crossed.
Aussie greetings to a Kiwi friend.
