When you've been retired a number of years as we have the days tend to roll into one another but fortuantely, so far, we do know which day of the week it is and the date too.

  1. You are doing better than I am. I can get a bit confused about both day and date.

  2. My compliments and admiration. Been retired 8 years and dates and days take more thought than they used to. Still dream about working --it's like nightmares except I wake laughing.

  3. I mostly know what day it is, but if I've been having a lot of long naps I have to check that I didn't sleep though a whole day and wake up tomorrow.

  4. Hi geriatric grandmother, I loved your post about the ropeworks from a few weeks back. I am conducting an oral history project into the industrial sites of Mosman park. I'd love to interview you if you'd be willing, email me at catepattisonresearch@gmail.com.

  5. Yep. I subscribe to a newspaper so that keeps me up on the day and date, plus my trusty computer tells me too.
