That first one made me smile so wide! The others are funny too. I'm enjoying the Dick Francis books, I found they're the kind of story you keep holding on to and reading while you stir the gravy and turn the chicken.
I loved the cat and the wig but they're all great. Glad you are enjoying Dick Francis. They are books you want to know what's happening over the page, in the next chapter etc. I am re-reading for 3rd time so can pop one in the mail for you from time to time and you can then read them at your leisure. I am currently reading one by his son Felix who helped Dick with lots of research after Mrs Francis died. He also co-authored the last few books with his dad. I am quite enjoying this one and he has carried on with one of the characters that Dick first used in one his books.
Glad you did. xxx Rae
ReplyDeleteNice to smile or even laugh isn't it? Hope you are feeling much better now. xx

ReplyDeleteButtons it is so great to use the facial muscles that allow us to grin rather than those that cause us to frown. Much less hard work too. xx

ReplyDeleteDefinitely an AWWW but no black cats for EC this time. I also liked the one with the cat's head out of the window.
