HELP NEEDED

Is there anyone out there in blogging land that can help me?  Yesterday I posted on Dear Mum and Dad and it doesn't seem to be appearing anywhere and yet I can open it OK so it is sitting there somewhere but not showing up.  There have been no comments so I doubt it has been seen.

I have sent it back to draft and republished it but still nothing.

If there is anyone that does follow my blog and also Dear Mum and Dad would you kindly let me know if you have seen the 8 October edition.

This happened once before with Geriatricgrandmother and I couldn't find out why.

Any help would be appreciated.

  1. Hello Mimsie. These things are sent to try us! I am not sure what the problem is but is this the post you were talking about, this first paragraph because if it is, it is there now.

My thoughts were of you when I woke up this morning. It is the 129th anniversary of your birth in London, England. T'was within the sound of Bow Bells you were born which makes you a true cockney and the twang was still there in your speech many years after when you were quite an old man.

    1. Thank you Denise. I leave the computer on its own for a few hours and all seemed to come good.
Yes, you found the post I'd lost and I look forward to seeing your comment . x

  2. I hadn't been following Dear Mum& Dad but just signed on to the site by Google Friend Connect. Checked my dashboard reader and " AN ANNIVERSARY " showed up immediately. Helpful?

    1. Very helpful Geo. and thanks and glad you paid a visit to Dear Mum and Dad It's not a blog I post that often, just when special occasions or thoughts come along that connect me to those two special people.

  3. I have just read your other lovely post on the other blog and left a comment. Seems to be okay my end. Hopefully things have gone back to normal now and it was a temporary glitch.

  4. I've never been to Dear Mum and Dad, but it's probably blogger issues that will resolve in time. I'll nip over now and have a look.

    1. Thanks River. As said above I don't post there that often but keep it alive as and when I feel the need to.
You can't help wondering what goes on 'out there' can you?

  5. Yes, it's there and I left you a comment.
Got my Friday story done too, I was worried about the words, but as soon as I opened the 'new post' page the writing just flowed, like a river ha ha. I hardly had to think at all about it.

  6. I'm seeing it just fine over here Mimsie.....I read it yesterday and I guess I didn't comment because yesterday comments just didn't seem to be coming to me very well. There are a couple of notes from some other folks on it though.

Yes it's there! I occasionally meet this problem, but it is fairly rare. Someone suggested to me that it may have been the recent solar flares, as virtually everyone everywhere was experience trubs! As good an explanation as any.

One thing, though, that has caught me out at times is the mis-scheduling - if you use that, it can be that the time has skipped away from what you intended. YAM xx

  8. I have found that Bloglovin have made some changes and only the first few in the feed show up, there is a 'see more' label that you hit and then the others show up. I found yours and read your beautiful words xxx
