I enjoyed those clips so much. Our Perth Zoo did have polar bears and I remember watching them and feeling amazed at their size. (3 polar bears arrived in May 1952 with one being sent to Taronga Park Zoo. One died in 1974 and the last male died in September, 1980). Personally I don't feel we have the proper climate for those animals but I've never been sorry at having the opportunity to see them 'in the flesh'; they were so beautiful.
Came in from Drifting though life...The only time I saw a polar bear was in Calagary zoo. I was impress of it size. If you fine the time stop in for a cup of coffee.
Thanks for paying me a visit. Will try and pop in for that coffee really soon. As said above to EC, I do remember seeing polar bears at our Perth Zoo years ago and wondering at their beauty and their size.
I have seen those clips too. And would LOVE to see a polar bear. Perhaps not be hugged by one, but see one? Definitely.
