Once again scanning YouTube for favourites and I came across this one. I've never been a great fan of Patti Page but always thought this a cheerful little song. I wonder if you remember it? Do take a minute or two and enjoy this tune with me.
I love this song. It's been sung by so many artists, some good, some not so good,a couple of truly awful renditions. This version is alright, although she does over enunciate a bit.
It is great and maybe it is her accent that causes her to over enunciate. Perhaps it's that we are not as familiar with the US accents so they sound stronger.
I am so glad you were able to enjoy it with your Dad Yaamini and please do pass on my regards to him (all the way from Perth in Oz). Trust your weekend will be a happy one too. Ours will be mainly TV watching as there are a couple of good AFL footy games on plus the final days of le Tour de Paris to which we've become addicted, me maybe just a wee bit more than Phil but he does enjoy a nice nap through parts of it. xxxx
