.. Hi Mimsie... I'm 73 and my Mum is 99 and lives with me and my hubby. She is quite independent and I don't need to do much for her, mainly keep her company and watch over her meds. Every day she wakes up, comes out and reads the paper and wants to play Yahtzee in the afternoons is a blessing to me and my family. I thank God every night for every day... ..have a good day.... hugs.. Barb
Been a little tardy in reaplying, my apologies. Your mother sounds a wonderful person and how lucky you are to still have her with you. Give her a hug from me. please. xx
It's a good thing to count our blessings. As they say, count up, not down.
ReplyDeleteI have many things to be so glad about during my 84 years.
DeleteOh yes. And the blessings are much bigger (in number and in quality) than the curses.
ReplyDeleteI think we in Australia have so much to be thankful for and each morning when I wake is another blessing.
DeleteHari OM
ReplyDeleteEach breath a blessing... YAM xx
Yes, and we take so much for granted. xxx
DeleteI should print this and stick it up where I can see it as soon as I wake each day.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, River, I think maybe we all should do just that.
