I can enjoy some of the pretty spider if they are safe in their web but the redback and daddy longlegs I can't abide. Snakes...not so keen on the poisonous ones ... but the others I don't mine and can even handle them without a shudder.
... hello Mimsie.... my name is Barbara and I'm visiting from River's blog... I don't like spiders in the house, on me or walking around... What I do like is spiders safely in a web where I can see them and take their photos.... I'll be 74 in July this year and I'm up to great grand children too.. I'll visit you regularly if I may..... Have a nice day.... hugs... Barb xxx
Hullo Barbara, nice to meet you and welcome to my blog and yes, please visit any time. I have a granddaughter who shares my fear of spiders (and thunderstorms). Not sure I'd get close enough to photograph a spider in a web. Need a good camera for me to do that I'm afraid. Aren't great-grandchildren wonderful? Unfortunately I can't enjoy them as I did my grandchildren (such as picking them up etc) but they are still a joy in my life. Hope you week will be a good one. xx
LOL! So do I!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteSpiders are just not my 'thing'. :)

Not probably as sensitive as I am when it comes to spiders. It is always great to begin the new week with a smile so glad to supply one. xx
DeleteVery cute, thanks Mimsie and have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it Denise and hope your week also goes well for you. :)
DeleteI don't mind them and some, like the peacock spider are very, very beautiful. Snakes on the other hand...

DeletePoor kitty. He looks scared, but he sure is pretty.
ReplyDeleteLike Sue, I don't mind spiders, either. What I don't like is walking into a spider WEB. With my face. YUK!
Yes, his beauty still shows doesn't it? Like you I dread ever walking into a web or having a spider on me. Not good.

Oh the poor kitty! Wonder what sent him scurrying up the pole like that?
ReplyDeleteThat is a good question as I am sure it was not a spider. I guess someone who had the picture thought it a good caption to go with the shot.
