FRIDAY FAVOURITES No 28
I always enjoyed Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers and then I discovered this version by Inca Gold and felt it well worth sharing. It's hard to believe such beeautiful music could be made on a pan pipe and a guitar. Two very talented musicians and in particular a wonderful guitar player. Hope you will enjoy it along with me. DeleteThat's quite lovely to listen to. We have a small band of Incas who busk in Rundle Mall for a short while each year, they wear very colourful serapes and hats and the music makes me want to dance and twirl. I bought the CD they had on sale one year, but playing it at home, didn't sound the same. It lacked the atmosphere of the street and crowds.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful. I guess the CD should have perhaps been recorded with sound effects to make it more realistic.
DeleteI'm not sure if we have buskers in Perth not having been there for many years. They do have them in Fremantle I believe but some people aren't happy about it. There's always someone isn't there?
Blood and sand, that was a fabulous rendition of one of my favourite songs. Thank you for sharing that with us, Mimsie - I thoroughly enjoyed the whole performance.
