FRIDAY FAVOURITES No 23
Andy Williams has always been among our favourite songsters and The Impossible Dream one of our favourite songs. Phil prefers a different version (he likes the original from the film Man of La Mancha) but I find the version sung my Andy Williams to be my favourite.

DeleteI agree Mimsie, he was a great singer. Every word is crystal clear and his breath control is amazing. His voice had that smoky velvet sound that was perfect for the ballads he sang. A lovely reminder of days gone by - thank you.
ReplyDeleteTez I am so glad you enjoyed this offering. I never listen to songs in the modern style as I can never understand the words not do I like the constant boom boom boom of the drums. They may call it music but I don't.

My dad loved Andy Williams and he would have enjoyed this. I'm not a fan myself, but I do like the song.
