I AM LOOKING FORWARD

Yesterday, after MOH and I had a delicious afternoon tea of coffee and cake at our favourite little cafe, I was able to walk around a couple of the shops (one at a time mind you) and when I saw the 2014 diaries and calendars I thought "Why not, look to the future and get on with your life?".  So I bought one of each item.

I always have a pocket diary with all my appointments and MOH and I have a calendar each on the kitchen wall where we both write up appointments etc.  Over the top perhaps but we seldom forget anything that has to be done so it works for us.

My choice of my $2 calendar each year is one with Cats & Kittens (I am sure EC would understand that one) and a bright coloured diary so it is easily found in my handbag.

So, there you are, I am determined to look to the future from now on and get on with doing at least what I am still able to do.   What I can't do, someone else will have to be found do it.

They say a smile is worth a thousand words so here's a huge smile for you.

  2. I love that big smiley face! I used to have a whole sheet of smiley face stickers and would stick one on every letter I wrote. We also had a bumper sticker that read "smiles are free, use one every day". For a while I used to write that on the whiteboard at work, but someone always erased it. If I kept a diary in my bag it would need glow in the dark covers, that bag is a bottomless pit. I haven't started looking at 2014 calendars yet.

    1. *_* *_* I have always loved smiley faces as well. I also used them on letters I sent. Don't write many now as most communication by email. 2013 diary is bright pink and 2014 lime green so quite visible. Now I seldom go shopping my handbag is a tad smaller so not so difficult to find items.
I hadn't intended to buy diary or calendar but there they were so.....bought 'em.

  5. Yay. And yes, the cats and kittens are very cute. Our kitchen calendar (on which we also write all appointments) has dragons on it this year. It was polar bears last year, and next year? Who knows.

    1. You surprise me you too don't have a cat calendar but polar bears and dragons are great too. Phil changes his each year but can imagine he would choose bears if you could find one....he loves bears. *_*

    2. I meant if HE could find one. Perhaps over the next few months we may come across one for him.
