Much of the rest is desert and although some aborigines live there, not many white folk do.Mimsiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00249766510078357225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2704657209559170713.post-86344446587684630842013-08-20T18:14:09.953+08:002013-08-20T18:14:09.953+08:00Geraldton coming up soon. I don't think I have covered everything about that city but have done my best and found as many lovely photos as I could steal for the free ones on offer.
We only passed through Geraldton but spent several hours there many years ago. It would have changed a lot since then, some 40+ years back.Mimsiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00249766510078357225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2704657209559170713.post-19489529219048886212013-08-20T18:12:27.524+08:002013-08-20T18:12:27.524+08:00Yes River the G is silent as in carrot (as the say...Yes River the G is silent as in carrot (as the saying goes).
People have problems with possums here too but not in the inner metropolitan area. I enjoyed all your other photos too, loved the little silver gray possum and the bird. Aboriginal names are always neat. I am also enjoying the Native Indian names in the area we are traveling through. Gorgeous scenery out there. Another reason I love to blog, you get to see some amazing sights out in the world.
